I think the state of the union address was a good speech and thats as far as it went. the president has been working on these issues all of his predicency. he has yet to even do anything with electric cars! he has been working on the social security system for the longest. not to mention the war in iraq that he was totally wrong about persuing. that fact that more soliders have died since the war "ended" then died durring the war. i think bush has good ideas but he just needs to get thoese ideas in the making!!!

i think the definition of marriage should be a man and women. this is what the bible says that a marriage is! i think that allowing gay marriage they are taking the meaning out of marriage. thus allowing anyone to get marrried. i think it should stick to traditional biblical terms of a man and women.

Michael Schiavo Remarries

i think it is wrong to have a wife in a condition like terri schiavo was in and remarrie within 10 mounths. it should take longer then 10 mounths to greve for the lost of a loved one. it was wrong that he was calling his new wife his girlfriend for five years before they got married. he had a wife in abad condition and had a relationship with another woman.

come on who is really going to sing up for a work program that says you must go home in six years? people will not sign up for it because if you don't you can stay in the country longer. i do think the usa-mexican boarder should be patrolled more. we need to crack down on the border then address the illegals in the country. they need to be made to quilify for citizenship or leave the country.

i think cheney is doing the right thing by trying to stop the illtreatment of detaniees. i think the united states goverment should give the detaniees the rights of any citizen in this country. if we are going to deal with them treat them like anyone else. afer they are sentenced then they will serve there time.

VA Election

i think that kilgore was the better governer for va. it seems that the rest of va did not think the way i did. many people vote for the party not the person. let me ask you this, how can a democrat win the governer seat and republicans win all the other seats? kaine is to liberal. he is librial with the death penality, he says he will uphold it but that might just be a campainge promise. one way kane won was because he had endorsement form mark warner. kilgore did the wrong thing by having bush endorse him very close to election time. why would kilgore want bush to endorse him when his national record is low? i think if the elcetion was strictly on the issues kilgore would have won.

i think the scandle will definently hurt george bush's rebutation. i think the presidency might be hurt a little by libby's resignation. seeing that libby and cheanney have been eachothers advisors since cheanneys days in the pentagon. if karl rove is indited then bush will be in a heap of trouble. bush is also tight with rove just like cheanny is tight with libby.

harriet miers might be a lawyer & "george bushes kind of women", but she doesn't seem to be a good supreme court justice. she has never even served as a judge anywhere before. most of her cases were resolved out of court so she has verylittle experence in a court room setting. she has almost no opinion on anything. the court has nothing to go by to see how she will rule on issues. bush needs to get another kind of women!

kaine definitely won the debate. kilgore seemed very stressed and he stumbled on his words. kaine had a strong monotone speaking voice. kaine answered the questions asked while kilgore walked around the questions. kilgore talked more about what kaine hasn't done then what he (kilgore) will do. kilgore will "up hold the death penalty." while kaine kept on saying "I've cut taxes." kaine did a good job of adressing his policy. kilgore just talked about why kaine was wrong.

"under god" unconsitutional

You know you have to think back two hundred years when this country was founded to come up with an answer to this question. the pilgrams came to america for their freedom of religion. so yes, i think "under god" should be in the pledge. no one is forcing you to say it anyway. you can sit quietly and not say it. most people beleive in some "god". if "under god" is unconsitutional then take it off our money!

Katrina's Silver Lining

brooks said that katrina was a good thing for the new orleans area. he says that they can now rebuild but "nothing like before." i say where are the poor people who called newe orleanes home going to go. brooks said they are spread across the country. so a natural disaster makes you move so some other family can move on to property. do they want to kick the poor out to get the middle class in?

i think that if they don't want to leave the city them let stay. they won't survive long with toxic water all around them. they have no food or drinking water. they will have to leave or die. i think it's their choice. if you come right down to it they should have left when the first evacuation was in place.
